Shining Star: Madelyn “Maddie” Mancuso
Our May Shining Star is Maddie Mancuso, a negotiator on the investment team at Orion. Here Maddie shares how she plans to take her homemade pasta-making skills to the next level.
Where are you from?
I grew up in Batavia, New York, a small city that’s located between Buffalo and Rochester. Also, it’s the hometown of our own Molly McGee.
What university did you graduate from?
I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from St. Bonaventure University in 2018; I moved to New York and began working at Orion in the spring.
Do you have some fun hobbies?
Yes, I love to cook! I have taken full advantage of having a non-NYC-sized kitchen at my parent’s house this past year. Homemade pasta and seafood are my go-tos. I also try to golf as much as I can and spend any extra free time I have with my niece and nephews.
Tell us: what’s your favorite movie?
Any of the Christmas classics of my time. I don’t think I could ever choose just one, but the Elf soundtrack is most superior.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I haven’t been to Europe yet, but next on my travel bucket list is Sicily. I have extended family who still lives there and would love to visit them. I’m sure that my pasta-making skills will surely be humbled!
