Shining Star: Lisa Li
We head to Asia this month to meet our February Shining Star: Lisa Li. Based in China, Orion’s Investment Director has traveled across the world. The jet-setter shares the No. 1 place she’s still itching to go.
So, tell us: Where is your hometown?
I‘m from Shanghai; it’s one of the most famous cities in China.
Tell us about your career.
Before joining Orion, I worked for Boston Scientific, a medical device company, as a financial analyst focused on clinical trials. After work for several industries, I started my journey in media; my financial background helps me well understand the Orion business.
And where do you attend college?
I graduated from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology with a bachelor’s degree in international accounting.
What are your hobbies?
I love traveling with my friends and family. I have been to many countries; I really enjoy experiencing diverse cultures and lifestyles.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I’d like to go to Iceland to see the aurora. Look up into the sky and appreciate the art of nature.
If you could wake up tomorrow with one quality or ability what would it be?
To be a time traveler; I can jump to any era whenever I want to see the different past and future.
