Shining Star: Joanne Josephson
Our May Shining Star, Joanne Josephson (who is a Negotiator, Media Activation), shares how she’d love to take her snorkeling sessions to the next level. Plus, where she hopes her travels will take her next.
So, where are you from?
Massapequa, Long Island.
What college did you graduate from?
I graduated from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. There, I double majored in media and communication and history and played the middle hitter position for the women’s volleyball team.
What is your favorite sports team?
My favorite sports team is the New York Yankees! I’ve been going to games since I was young, and really enjoy watching all season long. Living on the Upper East Side now, I’m able to go much more frequently. I made my first television debut, cheering in the stands at a playoff game last year!
What are your hobbies?
My favorite hobbies are traveling and eating. I love exploring the culture and cuisine of new places I visit and learning a city. Tapas and tacos are some of my food favorites. Two new places I’d love to visit: Iceland and Bora Bora.
If you could wake up tomorrow with one quality or ability what would it be?
It would be awesome to have the ability to breathe underwater. I love swimming, and it would be a lot of fun to be around reefs and fish for a little longer than a snorkeling session.
