Orion Names Two New Media Directors

New York, NY, October 3 – Orion Trading, a company within Orion Holdings and the media barter unit of IPG Mediabrands announced today that Barbara Di Maria and Rich Wakeford have been promoted. DiMaria, former SVP, Director of National Broadcast, has been promoted to National Media Director, adding responsibility for digital media as well as national television and radio. Rich Wakeford, SVP, Local Broadcast Director, has been promoted to Local Media Director, adding responsibility for out-of-home as well as local television and radio.

DiMaria joined Orion Trading last year.  Previously, she spent seven years at Ingenuity Media at the Martin Agency where she was Senior Vice President, Director of Investments.

 

Wakeford joined Orion Trading in 2006. Since that time, he has negotiated and implemented high impact brand associations for Orion’s clients which include major sporting events, major award shows, and local charities. Throughout his career, he’s worked on a broad range of categories including automotive, retail, travel and theatrical both on the client side and at media agencies.
