Orion Shining Star: Jen Harmon
We name a Shining Star as a way to get to know each other better. This month, Jen Harmon, Manager, Direct Response, shares a bit about her background.
Where are you from?
Fairfield, CT
Where did you last work? What was your position and what did you do there?
My first job was with a financial headhunting firm in Stamford, CT. I was Manager of Research and Operations, and supported headhunters in their research, technology, and recruiting efforts. I also conducted candidate screenings, reference checks, and edited resumes. I was responsible for creating candidate pipelines to present to clients, job descriptions on behalf of clients and communicating with clients’ HR departments daily.
Where did you graduate?
I graduated from the University of Delaware with a double major in Mass Communication and English Literature, with a French minor.
What are your hobbies?
I love to try new restaurants and travel.
Something interesting you might not know about me …
I studied abroad in Paris and used to be fluent in French (not so much anymore)!
