Cindy Felix Orion Work Anniversary

At Orion, our employees have always been our greatest asset. Our continued success and growth is generated from the dedication, hard work and commitment of Orionites around the globe. Today, we spotlight Cindy Felix, VP, Media Investment, as she celebrates a significant milestone with Orion – her nine-year anniversary.

Would you provide more detail as to your role and background at Orion?
I started at Orion as an assistant buyer, grew into a buyer then shipped off to London where I joined our Media Investment team (MIT) for six months.  When I came back to the U.S., I stayed with Investment. And, nine years later, I am a VP of our Local MIT at the Global Headquarters in New York.

What’s the best part about working at Orion?
Orion has become a home to me.  The best part is our people. I come to work every day with a team that is ready to take on new challenges, bring on more wins and inspire each other to work hard.

What personality traits are most important to thrive in your role/ department?
At Orion, we are always looking for smart individuals who are quick on their feet and eager to bring new ideas to the table. There are many different personality traits that work in this environment, truly allowing anyone to thrive. It ultimately comes down to self-motivation and work ethic. Each employee is given the tools to succeed and the company is supportive and invested in helping its people grow.

What three words would you use to describe Orion’s culture? 
Outside of our role in the media industry, Orion has developed a culture that is unique to other agencies.  If I had to choose three words to describe our culture they would be DYNAMIC, SUPPORTIVE and FRIENDLY.  Orion is constantly evolving, but our motto remains the same, “Work hard. Be nice.” As we continue to grow and move offices, this phrase moves with us. Each time, the font increases and our motto pops up in more rooms around the office.

What are you looking forward to at Orion in the coming months? 
Aside from all of the exciting events, like holiday parties, team-building competitions, and charity events, I am really looking forward to seeing how the future unfolds at Orion. The future at Orion is exciting and I love watching us grow, give back and become more diverse. We have offices around the globe and I’ve added visiting all of them to my bucket list.
