SHINING STAR: ALEX WOLFGANG

Meet our December Shining Star: Alex Wolfgang. Orion’s VP, Client Development shares his (very) weird talent — and how he’s using it to benefit some who need it most.

So, tell us a bit about yourself: Where are you from?
I was born on Long Island but when I was five, moved to South Florida — where I lived until I moved back to New York 10 years ago.

Before joining Orion, where did you work?
Prior to Orion, I worked in sales operations at MediaMath, where I led a team responsible for the development and optimization of processes to effectively manage the commercial organization (e.g., territory planning, target setting, account strategy, forecasting, opportunity management, resource planning, etc.).

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I’d love to do an extended stay in Japan and visit Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka.

What’s your most unique, perhaps weird, talent?
I can tell the age of a dog by looking at its teeth. In fact, I volunteered at a dog shelter for several years in Florida.

Your favorite bands?
Dua Lipa and her band. I just bought tickets to see her in London next September — keeping my fingers crossed that concerts are allowed by then!
