Meet Brianna, Our Futures and Options Winter Intern
IPG Mediabrands has once again partnered with Futures and Options, a program dedicated to assisting the career development of New York City’s underserved teens. At Orion, we’re thrilled to welcome two interns as participants in the Winter Career Technical Education Internship.
Today, we’re introducing Brianna Joseph, a senior at Midwood High School. Brianna will work with her manager, Graham Petrarca, and the National Media Activation team to learn about Orion and our industry, as she develops her professional skills.
We sat down for a quick chat with Brianna.
What are your initial first impressions of Orion?
My first impression of the company was that everybody here is really welcoming, really genuine and really helpful. Anytime I needed help, even learning how to make coffee with the coffee machine, someone was there to help me. So, it’s been an amazing first impression.
What are you looking forward to learning and experiencing while you’re here?
I am looking forward to learning more about the advertising industry. I feel with any media job, you will need to really know how to sell your product and sell yourself. So, that’s what I’m most excited to experience.
What are some of your educational/professional aspirations?
My educational aspiration is to get my Masters in Graphic Design, or maybe Business. And, my professional aspirations are to maybe become a website designer or a freelance graphic designer.
